RVBlogger is currently accepting applications for its RVBlogger STEM Scholarship. Its looking to award a $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in STEM.

Visionary Integration Professionals today announced the winners for the 16th annual Women in Technology Scholarship program. VIP has proudly supported more than 150 young women pursuing a career in computer science, information management systems and other IT-related fields.

The Science Ambassador Scholarship

The Science Ambassador Scholarship, funded by Cards Against Humanity, is an annual full-tuition scholarship for a woman studying science, technology, engineering or math.

To apply, applicants must create a three-minute video explaining a STEM topic theyre interested in and upload it to YouTube. The video should be framed as a minilecture, not a personal statement. That means applicants should pretend they are a lecturer speaking to a class. Applicants are encouraged to cite all of their sources to ensure scientific accuracy.

Award:

  • Winner receives a full-tuition scholarship
  • Second place winner receives $2,500
  • Third, fourth, and fifth place winners receive $1,000 each

Eligibility:

  • Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student
  • Must major in or intend to major in a STEM field

All Temple University students are automatically considered for need-based academic scholarships. In addition there are several internal and external scholarships available through the Fox School of Business.

The below are examples of scholarships available to enrolled Fox students.

  • The Maguire Business Scholars Program is available for qualified students pursuing a major in Risk Management and Insurance who demonstrate financial need and community service.
  • Students in the Online BBA program may qualify for the Fox School Ethics and Social Responsibility Scholarship, for making a significant contribution in the field of business ethics. The contribution can be part of academic requirements, internship or employment experience, or in the students role in a professional organization.

Pennsylvania Technology Scholarship Fund

Deadline: August 1st

Within the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency , the Technology Scholarship Fund has been established to grant $1,000 each year for a maximum of two years to undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time with a major in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, information security, or related STEM-field. Eligible recipients must reside in Pennsylvania, take at least three credits per semester, attend an approved NETS school in-state, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. After graduation, scholars must begin work within one year with a tech-focused employer based in Pennsylvania.

William R Reaugh Scholarship

Through the Foundation for IT Education for the Association of Information Technology Professionals , the William R. Reaugh Scholarship was created to offer $2,000 annually in honor of his lifetime of service on the association’s Board of Directors. Qualified students must be active AITP members, have a declared major in information technology or computer science, have completed at least one full college semester, maintain full-time enrollment status at an accredited U.S. institution, have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and boast an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. Recipients will be chosen based on extra-curricular activities, scholastic abilities, leadership potential, financial need, and career objectives in IT.

Bhw Women In Stem Scholarship

Offered by the Austin, Texas-based custom web and mobile app development company BHW Group, the BHW Women in STEM Scholarship is an annual $3,000 award that goes to women who are pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree in STEM.

To apply, those interested must submit a 500-800 word essay. Although the application for those looking to receive scholarships for fall 2021 are currently closed until January, the BHW Group has already released its essay prompts, which are available here.

The Palantir Women in Technology Scholarship, started in 2010 with the mission to encourage women to pursue STEM careers, annually awards 10 women majoring in STEM fields with $7,000 scholarships and a trip to its headquarters in Palo Alto, California, for an all-expenses paid developmental workshop.

The application window is currently closed until December, but the most recent applicants had to submit an application that includes a transcript, resume, and answers to two essay questions.

Sponsored by the Mile High Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals in Denver, the Dave Sanders Memorial Scholarship is granted annually for $1,000 in memory of a technology and business instructor at Columbine High School in Littleton who was among those killed in the 1999 shooting. Eligible applicants must be graduating from Columbine, be accepted for enrollment at any accredited U.S. institution, have declared a major in information technology or another tech-related field, be in good academic standing, and be actively involved in the AITP Mile High Chapter. Annually, the National Center for Women & Information Technology uses funding from Hewlett-Packard to provide a $7,500 Collegiate Scholarship Award that recognizes outstanding undergraduate women for their computing and technological accomplishments. Virginia Heinlein Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of a promising young undergraduate student who died in an electrical accident while studying at the University of Maryland in 1983, the Lance Stafford Larson Student Scholarship is presented annually through the IEEE Computer Society for $500 each year for winners of the student paper competition. VIP is committed to investing in the career advancement of young women pursing the IT industry, said Jonna Ward, CEO of VIP. The VIP WITS program offers multiple scholarships of up to $2,500 each, to women pursuing a career in computer science, information technology , management information systems, or another technology-related discipline.
