Dependent Children Scholarship Program
This scholarship provides aid for Tennessee residents who are dependent children of a Tennessee law enforcement officer, fireman, or an emergency medical service technician who has been killed or totally and permanently disabled while performing duties within the scope of such employment.
To be eligible, the applicant must:
- be a Tennessee resident and attend an eligible Tennessee college or university full time, and
- be a dependent of a Tennessee law enforcement officer, fireman, or an emergency medical service technician at the time of the incident, and
- complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid and have a valid EFC.
Honors Scholarships For Current Students
Currently enrolled honors students may apply for all honors scholarship opportunities listed below by completing an online application. The Scholarship Application opens up every year on October 1st and closes on st for Honors opportunities. Qualifications are listed below, additionally students must be considered as “on-track” for Honors requirements and be approved for early priority registration each semester in order to be considered for an Honors Scholarship.

Benefits Of East Tennessee State University International Merit Scholarship 2023
Scholarship award amount covers the tuition fee of student
Students who maintain their academic status upto the university’s requirement, achieve tuitin fee coverage
students who become unable to maintaine the required GPA get exemption from the stipend
For undergraduate students the amount of award is $12,500
Graduate students get award of $ 5000 for masters level of study and up to $ 9000 for doctoral programs
This amounts for about 50 percent of the whole state tuition fee
Scholarship is provided for about 8 semesters of Undergraduate course and 6 semesters of postgraduate Course and will not extend beyond that at any cost.

To Be Eligible For An International Merit Scholarship For Graduate Students You Must Be
- A separate application is not necessary.
- Notification of the award will appear in your admission letter.
- The scholarship cannot be combined with a Graduate Assistantship, Tuition Scholarship, or any other scholarship that covers tuition and fees costs .
- The funding covers tuition only, not program service fees, housing, meal plans, or medical insurance.
- Graduate students may receive the scholarship for five semesters or the length of the program .
- Certain students are ineligible for the International Merit Scholarship for Graduate Students:
- Students pursuing a second Bachelors or second Masters degree
- Graduate students receiving a graduate assistantship or Tuition Scholarship
- Students receiving any other ETSU tuition scholarship
- Students applying for the M.D. or Pharm.D. programs
- Students who are not in lawful F-1 or J-1 status

Mtsu Dream Scholarship Renewal Requirements
The DREAM Scholarship will be available for fall and spring semesters only and will be renewable for up to eight semesters, dependent on available funding. Students must meet the following requirements to retain the award:
- Enroll full-time every fall and spring semester
- Have an Estimated Family Contribution of 15,000 or less on FAFSA
- Meet all renewal requirements for the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship, including but not limited to the following:
- Complete the FAFSA annually, by February 15 of each year, and complete the verification process, if selected
- Meet GPA and enrollment requirements for the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program.

$8k Awards For Mtsu Dec 1 Deadline For Scholarship Applications
Middle Tennessee State University announced that scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching for an array of guaranteed scholarships to qualifying first-time, incoming freshmen including recently enhanced scholarships.
Prospective students must have a complete application on file with the MTSU Admissions Office by Thursday, Dec. 1, to be considered for an academic merit guaranteed scholarship, ranging from $3,500 to $8,000 per year for four years based on ACT scores and GPA, for the 2022-23 academic year.
MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee announced this fall the enhancement of the True Blue Scholarship, almost doubling the amount from a total of $8,000 to $14,000 over four years, while also announcing a new Centennial Scholarship that awards a total of $32,000 over four years.
This fall, during daily campus tours, True Blue Tour events, MTSU recruiters visits to schools and other outreach, McPhee and other representatives are encouraging prospective students to meet the application deadline to secure those guaranteed dollars to ease the burden of college tuition.
I always encourage students and parents to apply immediately, because these are guaranteed dollars for qualifying students that can greatly assist them and their families with paying for their college education, said Deb Sells, vice president for Student Affairs and vice provost for Enrollment and Academic Services.
