For High School Juniors Who Will Be Completing Or Leaving High School And Entering College In The Fall Of 2024

This scholarship program was established by Gannett Foundation, Inc. for the children of full-time employees of Gannett Co. Inc. and its subsidiaries. The program is administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, an independent 501c3 organization.

To participate in the program, students must take the qualifying test, the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test , in the specified year of their high school program. Students who plan to spend the usual four years in high school before entering college full time must take the PSAT/NMSQT in the third year .

The newest Connecticut College Posse Scholars from New York at the 2020 Awards Ceremony.

New York welcomed 123 new Posse Scholars in two Awards Ceremonies at TheTimesCenter this past January. The group of young leaders were awarded more than $25 million in scholarships and were joined at the celebration by family, friends, Posse alumni and college officials.

This years Scholars were selected from a pool of more than 3,200 nominees. They have won full-tuition merit scholarships from Posse New Yorks 12 partner colleges and universities.

The ceremony incorporated many Posse traditions, including the handing out of white roses, a symbol of new beginnings and the start of a Scholars lifelong partnership with Posse and their college community. The evening also featured an open mic section, an opportunity for Scholars and their family members to speak.

I thank Posse for noticing the hard work my daughter has put in these last couple of years, work that could have been easily overlooked, Kim Emile said when she took the mic. Her daughter, Arielle, is headed to Vanderbilt University this fall. She is the last one to go to bed and the first one up in the morning. This is her reward, and for that I thank Posse.

New Resident Freshmen

Oregon State Universitys Finley Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded based on the application for admission to new resident freshmen students who will be attending the Corvallis or Bend campuses. Award recipients typically have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.50 or higher. Priority consideration is given to students who submit their application for admission on or before February 1st students who apply after February 1st will be considered on a funds-available basis. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years , and they have an annual value of up to $4,500 per year.

Interview Date Process And Venue For Rsm Scholarships For International Students

  • Excellence in previous education is proven if the grade point average achieved at secondary school is at least the equivalent of the Dutch grade of 8.0 on the Dutch grading scale 1 10.
  • For prospective students who have also attended higher education after secondary education grades obtained in higher education will also be considered. The RSM Scholarship Committee will decide on the local grade equivalents for the Dutch grade of 8.0 using the grade information included in the Nuffic country modules
  • Only students who are not recipients of any other scholarships exceeding the amount of 5,000 in total in that same academic year can apply for the scholarship

Requirements For Gsk Scholarships Qualification

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be nationals of, and resident in, countries in sub-Saharan Africa and
  • Intend to return to sub-Saharan Africa on completion of their MSc year at LSHTM and
  • Confirm that they would not otherwise be able to pay for the proposed programme of study by submitting the Supplementary Questions Form and
  • Meet LSHTMs minimum English language requirements and
  • Hold a first degree at either a first or upper second class equivalency level, and
  • Hold an offer of admission for 2023-24 for one of LSHTMs 19 London-based intensive MSc programmes of study.
