Two Humanitarian Health Scholarships are available for students from low- and middle-income countries who wish to apply for the online Master of Applied Science in Humanitarian Health program at John Hopkins University. All enrolled MAS students will also receive the OPAL Scholarship, which is a per-credit amount that will be applied to all required courses throughout the academic program.

Scholarships For International Students

Our international scholarships range from $2,000 to $12,000 per year. Students receiving our largest awards have a combination of outstanding grades , challenging coursework, and demonstrate strong engagement in extracurricular involvement.

Our scholarship review goes beyond traditional evaluations and looks at more than just your current grades to include your financial situation, need, and abilities to contribute to the CSU community. Application Process For This Scholarship

  • Explain your extenuating circumstance that has created a financial need for the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year, and how this scholarship would help you complete your academic goals. Please be as specific as possible. It is recommended to have a minimum of 500 words.
  • Describe your contribution to the campus or local community and why you are deserving of the scholarship. In addition, please explain your motivation for your service to the campus or local community. It is recommended to have a minimum of 500 words.

    Joseph Collins Foundation Scholarship

    The Joseph Collins Foundation avails a number of scholarships that are limited for medical students of Harvard Medical School who have dire financial needs and are aiming at specializing in Neurology, psychiatry, or general practice.

    The applicants also have to demonstrate an accomplishment in cultural pursuits either in arts, music, theatre, writing et cetera. Candidates are to be nominated by the Harvard Medical School Financial Aid Office.

    Other Sources Of Financial Aid

    • Pan American Fellowship: The Pan American Fellowship Fund was established by the Oregon Federation of Womens Clubs in 1946 to assist women graduates of accredited colleges in Latin America pursue graduate work at an Oregon college or university, and to assist women graduates of accredited colleges in Oregon pursue graduate work in Latin America. The fellowship award pays the recipient $325 per month for ten months .
    • Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund: The Rowe Fund is an Educational Loan Program of the Organization of the American States. It grants interest-free loans to people from Latin American and Caribbean countries to help them finance their higher education at accredited universities in the U.S. There is a maximum of $7,500 per academic period.
    • The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund: The is an outreach program of the World Bank Family Network. The fund provides financial assistance to women from developing countries during their studies in the U.S. or Canada. The MMMF annually awards six to ten grants of approximately $12,000 each. The application must be completed online at the World Bank Family Network website.

    Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme

    Scholarship and Financial Aid

    The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from selected developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies.

    The studies can be undertaken anywhere in the world including the US. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year.

    Information For Permanent Residents: Citizenship Status

    U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, and refugees and asylees qualify for federal financial aid in the form of loans, grants, or work-study opportunities.     Sylvia And Joseph Slifka Israeli Coexistence Scholarship

    This scholarship is awarded to two Israeli citizens one Arab and one Jewish. These students, along with the two recipients of the Malkin Israeli Endowed Scholarship, bring reality and personal commitment to the campus discussion of peaceful coexistence in Israel and in the world in general.

    Applicants must be Israeli citizens who demonstrate strong academic achievement and English proficiency, and have been involved significantly in coexistence efforts.

    The Common Application and additional international forms are required no special form is required for an applicant to be considered for the Slifka Scholarship. An interview by invitation of the Selection Committee is required these will be conducted in Israel. Dual U.S. and Israeli citizens are not considered for this award.

    The scholarship provides the resources for tuition and fees, standard on-campus room and board, and one round-trip air ticket each year between Israel and the United States books and personal expenses remain the obligation of the student.

    Scholarships For The Harvard Medical College

    The Harvard Medical School Financial Aid Office controls a number of Outside Scholarship Opportunities for studies at the Harvard Medical School.     Requirements For Peo International Peace Scholarships Qualification

    • An applicant must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study and working toward a graduate degree in an accredited college or university in the united States or canada.
    • A student who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not eligible.
