Access To Better Learning And Education Grant Program
The Access to Better Learning and Education Grant provides tuition assistance to Florida undergraduate students enrolled in degree programs at eligible private Florida colleges or universities.
If you currently attend or plan to attend one of the eligible private institutions, you need to apply at the financial aid office of the school you’ll be attending. ABLE requires you to be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, for programs other than theology or divinity.
Florida State Golf Association Scholarships

The Minority Teacher Education Scholars Program Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. is a performance-based scholarship program for African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, and Native American students administered by the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. .

The Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars program provides financial resources and individual support with the primary goal of graduating first generation, low-income undergraduate students. What Is The Bright Futures Scholarship Program
Bright Futures is from the Office of Student Financial Assistance . It is part of the Florida Department of Education. There are four scholarship awards. Eligible applicants must be Florida high school graduates and U.S. citizens. You must enroll in an associate, bachelors degree or certificate program at a Florida college.
The program offers the following Florida scholarships to eligible students.
- Gold Seal CAPE Scholars Award
- Gold Seal Vocation Scholars Award
The process to apply is to first submit a Florida Financial Aid Application . You must do this no later than Augusts 31 after you graduate high school. All awards use two main criteria to qualify: academic achievement and community service.
For example, you typically need at least a 3.0 GPA. You need to complete high school course credit hours. Eligible high school graduates must also meet certain ACT/SAT scores. You need to complete and document your service hours. You must have a high school diploma before going to college.
The scholarship renews each academic year . But you must keep up your grades and earn the required credit hours. OSFA calculates the award amount differently at 2 year, 4 year or technical schools.

The Florida Fund for Minority Teachers grants the Minority Teacher Education Scholarship to students of color who have been accepted into a qualifying teacher education program at a Florida state university or college. After graduation, recipients are required to teach one year in a Florida public school for each year they received the scholarship. The total award amount is split in half and given to awardees at the beginning of each semester. Qualifying students are encouraged to apply each year they meet eligibility requirements.
